#5634 RE: aleajactaest #5625

Alea--not to drag this out, but I believe you became entangled in the tentacles of your own analogical hyperbole. The totality of your post indicates it is a done deal, or at the very least, that we are significantly down the road to success.

I am arguing we are just now getting on the road to success, just beginning, not nearing our destination. Whether we crash into roadsigns, whether a coy flowergirl or Bill Gates is aboard, whether IBM eats Krispy Kremes, Dunkin Donuts or Honey Dews are all irrelevant.

The market we seek to dominate is a huge complex three dimensional web, with so many interlocking pieces no one company, not even Mr. Bill can steer it. It moves by fits and starts. One side is jacked up, then the other, then the center, and so on. There are considerations of technology, price, efficiency, privacy, delivery, ease of use, etc. that need to be factored in. Not even an array of Cray's supercomputers can predict the outcome. For all the pieces, or even most of the pieces to align themselves in our favor is still a longshot.

But...a tiny baby step in the right directions has been taken. The market at large values that baby step right now at just below $3/share and dropping. You and I know this is not the real value--but if market value is not determined by what you can sell something for, how is it determined? Potential? I don't think so.

You and I and most of the forward thinking Wavoids agree on the outcome we want to see--perhaps some see us a little further down the long, winding and bumpy road than I do. But as usual, you are amusing, insightful and entertaining.
