Alea,
For years I heard SKS say the key is getting in the box. OK, but how in the world is that ever gonna happen. Then one promising relationship after another would fail to bear fruit. Sitting back and thinking about it always took me back to the fact that we couldn't expect to be successful until we were in the box. we couldn't get in the box until we were successful. , but I love how you craft it.....

"So, with great determination and considerable skill, Wave worked to forge a great big movement within the industry that would topple the great big players and make them allies of the new philosophy. And this, with great dexterity and genius, they did".

So there is Intel and Wave's Impossible Dream is.

Alea....great post. WAVX is for visionaries, English language rookies and a very blessed few who get it and have gotten it for years. It is truly a wonder to consider that little WAVX could have engineered an honest and complete capture of the security marketplace. It feels like a Tom Clancy novel with the commandos taking over heavily guarded enemy territory to free the hostages and escape unscathed. There is a justice and symmetry about it that lends itself to comparisons with the countervailing MSFT darkness and underhandedness. There are only opportunities like this once or twice in a lifetime. WAVX has provided thrills, spills and chills and once again thrills. I, for one, am happy to be along for the ride.

One of my colleagues has "kool-aid fever" after reading the charts on the recent runup and working through our past conversations. He is certain without prodding from me that WAVX is the next big "story" stock. We may get a grand surprise that exceeds even our most optimistic hopes. I still believe that we will see a "20-point" day in WAVX's history.

You never know!!!

Blessings,

Mahjah

Alea&more

Can I call u AJ?
Quite a poster u b.
I would like to get on your bandwagon, errrr bus; maybe I can sit on the tourist level, 2nd deck, up on top.
Can't wait to see where we go; Real estate market; Is that happening NOW?
Financial, Medical, Government, Purchasing departments, Business, Oh my~~~

I'm interested in posters thoughts on the "Ubiquity" take that many have discussed? AleaJ, you say room for many to make money...agreed..but, could there be a standard? ie; Windows; AOL (in the beginning of the net craze); 5 1/4" diskette; yes, they all eventually evolve, from same company or competitor;

Can you direct me to link, or speak to how technology like, say a PAYPAL, would be forced(?) to utilize WAVX technology to enhance their tech?

I like your style; and feel good to be invested in same company that some obviously brilliant minds believe in.

Multiple splits and higher highs with the stock price? I hope to post in the future that, "I kantbleveit!"

Alea: You have committed the very sin you accuse me of--letting the past blind you to the future.

In my post I was not speaking about any problems of the past--I was focused entirely on the future. Yes, I have been intensely critical of our past--but this was not the point of my last post to you.

Even with favorable winds and currents at our back and a savy skipper at our helm, we could still fail. I base this not on our checkered past, but on the problems ahead that are far beyond Wave's control. Standards, adoption, competition, changing market requirements, etc.

I have let go of the past and I am overjoyed by the Intel announcement.

My comment specifically was, for you to call it a done deal at this point, is wildly inaccurate. We have taken the first baby step towards a long journey we all hope will end in ubiquity.
IMO, it is way premature to hoist the victory flag and declare we have won.

Alea: You may also be very right...

and, frankly, I think you make a much more compelling case than those Wavoids who would prefer you keep your mouth shut or, at least, take to whispering.

As you know, I have been reluctant to embrace the vision, reluctant to let go of the past, reluctant to let bygones be bygones. If I felt management put the interests of the shareholders above their own--heck even parallel with their own--I might possibly be a buyer. However, the most recent trough-visitation by the big three does nothing to allay that reservation. So I will remain, perhaps to my financial detriment, in NO POSITION mode.

Alea: I'm not entirely convinced...

as you may have guessed, that the tide has turned. Steven's recent dinner with a small group of message board folk strikes me as either incredibly poor judgment or evidence of desperation. With regard to the Intel deal, Steven was obviously not dealing from a position of strength. He had to get a deal done. Since there is no disclosure of the specifics yet, I am obliged to wonder what concessions he had to make in order to get it. Likewise, IBM. Granted, it's far better to have the deals than not to have them, but those of us from Missouri like to see the fine print.
