I guess I'm still confused. Imagine that. So are stock dividends and forward splits the same thing and are they treated the same way? Maybe that's where I'm getting confused. I thought they were the same and treated the same.
For example, I thought with GVRP the ex-date was 5/23/05 and as long as you bought up to and including that day you would get the 3M-1. Or am I remembering it wrong?
