i do not recall seeing any comment by myself or anyone saying 'a super-secret-pinkie-swear codeword' was needed to reach ir and get a response. just like checking the OS, easy to email the TA... no 'super-secret-pinkie-swear codeword' needed there either. i do agree that it would unprofessional if one was needed, glad it isn't the case here.
