Cabin,

You are so right. For awhile I was blaming myself for my investment decision, but I made the decision based on the belief that Huff and GTE were providing me with honest info. etc. Many people say, well you took a gamble and now you have to pay the price. BS!
When are corporations and their leadership going to take responsibility for their poor decisions? If the stock market is so full of liars, cheats and idiots running the companys, then we should all just raise our hands and surrender!

Cab...with all due respect, GTE and their management are not to blame for AMEX delisting without a warning, or BONY so called clerical error...and all the naked shorts...something is at play here besides bad management...

Cab- just for the record. I also don't have the funds to be adding much at this time, but I'm definately not selling.

As far as putting all the blame on GTE and GTE's management. I can't do that. We are definately being attacked on numerous fronts. GTE has made some big mistakes, yes, but the AMEX has tied their hands now so it is hard for them to fight back.

What we need now is a few money in the bank contracts, India money card news, plus real stratellite news. Until we get something like that we are going to get beat up.

I am not happy with the current SP either and am really sad to see longs having to leave now.

...nice to see some sober posts here the past couple of days...

...design, although I've never taken such a one stock hit, I know what it feels like to be down a substantial amount...probably most here do, especially those who continually play the pennies...

...cab's statement : ..."but those also that pump the company too much. To believe in a company is one thing, but the company needs to perform and live up to all the expectations it has laid out.", is the type of opinion that is SORELY lacking on this board...

...people such as crashman (still encouraging buying the past 10 days @ $.72 and $.55), ces57, glowbeatle, siriuslyricher and crashtestsuperstar, et al, are not your friends...they see Seth Jayson as the reason for this stock's performance, not GTE's inability to consistently, if at all, deliver...they do not urge caution, but, instead more buying in the face of one of the more dramatic selloffs of any company's stock that I can remember...

...to find NO fault at the hands of GTE's management reveals them to be persons that lack common sense...

...there's always tomorrow, but don't ever let this painful lesson escape you...

...the next time that you see a stock faltering, and see people such as crastestsuperstar supporting 2 or 3 new conspiracy theories each week, then increase your DD...but, by all means, ignore the "crashtestsuperstars" of the MB world...

...Good luck to you, ma'am...Duke...
