easier to then buy back shares and or sell the company when there are fewer shares - probably pay the brokers per share fee!

I expect some of the companies are asking for a percentage of the business, easier to do with a r/S as well. NOt sure if there is a process to ask for an exception to the MD law and get a 100:1 split. Normally there is small print in regulations that would enable that to happen.
