But that doesn't really count here. Jeter will be in the hall of fame for sure. But I will tell you this, If you gave me a team split with Jeters and Damons at all the posistions, I would take that over guys like Giambi, Sheffield and even A-Rod. Thats what the Yankees had in the mid to late 90's, a team with fighters on it that had the drive and determanation and they were not worried about personal greatness. Tino had some really great years with the bat, but guys like him and Paul O'Neil, Jeter, Brocious, Bernie,Tino They all had that fight to never say die. You can't teach a player that, he either has it or doesn't.
