I don't even see the two drugs as competitors. The NTRP drug is dosed IV in intermittent doses to avoid toxicity. At best it could "jump start" moderate to severe cases and enable them to benefit from 2-73.

Anavex will be good for mild to moderate Alzheimer's and also fights depression which is a major confounding issue in both diagnosis and treatment.

Axovant isn't even in the race with their failed plaque attack drug.

nice post....

sounds strategically plausible and understandable.

understanding strategic timing.
is a big part of the process isn't it.

......................................

meanwhile, today's price action continues the gyrations of steps climbing up to hit local resistance and getting whacked down,to find support, the battle zone ping pong continues today. looks like the end of day selling started in the afternoon, also a pattern these days, and is this 5.40/5.35 step a good place to add shares....it might be. and we might continue to see the lower steps later in the week, or we might not.

sooner or later the bottom 'target' will be reached

Lovely post Biostock, but perhaps thinking too hard about it. The best strategy is to get FDA approval ASAP, preferrably by the FDA granting accelerated approval after 6 mos results. Then we become the new standard of care, and the competitors take a hit.

I also removed my sell targets for now.....

I did have a few sells set at the 9 dollar area but removed them now, in case we get something special in the coming weeks. There are some chart targets at 13 and 14 area beginning to appear out of the mist.... the resistance targets at 7/8 and 9 dollars are still there to watch when the time comes, but the volatile blast in a big rally ,if we get one, is set up on the chart pattern now, as a Wave 3... it could be a big rally setting up now. The first grand wave was the rally from the 2.43/2.76 Bottom zone, to the 6.64 peak. The Wave 2 pullback is the one we have ongoing now,...which could stop at any time now, or it could continue to whatever Bottom the Powers Intend to take it to.
The next rally from the finished bottom would be/should be a grand Wave 3....and the math projection in Fibonacci terms, starts by calculating the distance by measuring from the 2.43 bottom or the 2.76 bottom (I do both) .... to the 6.64 peak and the targets come out looking like this.

Biostockclub, nice critical analysis and here's another take:
I wouldn't expect a serious partner or investor pulling the trigger without seeing PK/PD data. With 32(25) patients in this study, the PK/PD needs to be that much more conclusive. Missling said something to the effect we have the tip of the iceberg so far and PK/PD is the real McCoy. So yeah, everyone on this board should be craving for it and partners/inlicencers/investors are unlikely to make decisions before seeing it. Knoll is a one-trick-pony who is known to place his bets very early and Park West is a newbie in the biotech space with no other compelling names among their holdings. On a sidenote, Ariana will be producing alternate statistical measures (or so I gathered from info on their website) which I hope have a history of acceptance by the FDA.
FYI the stock market certainly doesn't think much about Neurotrope. Someone pointed out SLB rate at 120% already, a full month before data release. It means prople are desperate to position themselves from the expected downside. Their story/protocol around their candidate wasn't inspiring to me and I'm not doubting the market.
