The only difference is that about 2000 names are no longer on the Naz, and thus the NAZ index is now much lower (unlike the Dow which is price weighed, the Naz and NDX are capitalization weighed, when 40% of the companies are no longer in, the index is reduced accordingly), but for many of the stocks that did not go under or got pinked, we are already half way to those dizzying height of early 2000.
