Here is an example of PR for dosing 1st patient

RedHill Biopharma Announces First Patient Dosed in Phase Ib/II Study with YELIVA® for Multiple Myeloma
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/redhill-biopharma-announces-first-patient-130202976.html

Here is example of PR giving initiation of the site for the trial - not even starting of recruitment

Cellceutix Announces Initiation of Main Clinical Site for Phase 2a Trial of p53 Drug Candidate Kevetrin in the Treatment of Platinum-Resistant/Refractory Ovarian Cancer
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/cellceutix-announces-initiation-main-clinical-130000863.html

So without any such PR , it is unlikley that the trial has started

I defer to those of greater background, but I thought someone did respond earlier that this process could have already begun and that Anavex and Rett had like 100 days to file update.

Here is an optimistic thought-

AVXL has submitted protocols for all the 3 trials already and will have a single day meeting to discuss all of them together (as all diseases are in CNS and same fda team might look at them)

If that happens, we could see all protocol approval by fda nearly at same time and we could see PR for same around same time
