SFOR seems to be putting in a lot of work building the company. I believe Mark want's the best price and to do that needs to have a healthy company. IMO. However a company like google could offer a massive sum just to get the patents but I'm not going to hold my breath on that. So many possibilities and all with great outcome.
That's possible but not probable until the judge brings some more clarity to the issues IMHO. Once that judgement is rendered then a buyout could happen in short order. However, the more likely game changer would be scheduled Markman hearings. Once the defendants know they will have to reveal the exact nature & scope of their infringment, how they profited off it and most importantly trade secrets I believe they will toss in the towel like Microsoft did.
