Presidents pay for their own groceries and household stuff, so I'd assume they also pay for their own entertainment. He may not have been charged when he played at a local Air Force base, as he sometimes did, but probably when he went elsewhere he coughed up for greens fees and the like.

And in any case, that scarcely compares to the money Trump has invested all over the world. THAT is politically significant.
