Like I keep saying - in essence, it's not something that's going to end-up very comfortable for the telco's, but like I say, that if they get in line ahead of anyone else and strategize and create synergies with whoever develops the platform then they'll be better off in being able to provide services through said platform.
Either way - the platform will become inevitable, regardless of who develops it. The reality is however, that if a gov agency takes control of such a platform, then everyone's basically screwed in a variety of ways. If Seth's at all worried about 'Big Brother', then I find it completely humorous that he'd even remotely care to see someone like Lockheed succeed over the commercial competitor.
