If he uses Crucible IP for a consumer electronics case, why wouldn't Apple sue him and LQMT to kingdom come. Those are deep pockets.

Well Prometaltech did a bumper case for iPhone 6/6s. When I pressed Harold Lee about when this would come out since mid 2015 - he went silent after saying they had delayed a third time. Their bumper case is their video on their web page.

"2015. 07
Supply agreement with IG / MAPtech for iPhone6/6S bumper case"

If considered an Apple accessory it would have to be approved by Apple under their authorized third party accessory provider guidelines.

"What if Li markets a liquidmetal phone case to force Apple's hand?"

Sure that would be great. Then perhaps we can find out once and for all that consumers could care less about owning an iPhone case just because it's made from Liquidmetal amorphous alloy. I think the chicks would rather have pixie dust sparkles embedded in a wonderfully contoured pink plastic background. Dudes probably would rather have a case with an embedded pocket knife maybe. Cause it looks BA. If Li can do that in a single shot of Liquidmetal well. Maybe we got something to talk about. lol

But, at least the LQMT lotto ticket holders could sit and stare at a Liquidmetal case in awe of their prestige of owning a front row seat. Be prepared for the disappointment "encase" it don't happen though. ;-)

Force Apple's hand. LMAO! I am so sure Apple is shaking in its boots worried that a "Turing" phone encased with amorphous alloy is going to destroy Apple's market share. Although I do feel, Apple will have to be dynamic going forward to protect said market share. However, I don't feel a Liquidmetal case will improve the iPhone in the eyes of consumers in any way. Unless it makes it considerably cheaper. There are far too many material options as well as competent smart phone options that can wrap around the incredible consumers experience of a smart phone.

"What if Li markets a liquidmetal phone case to force Apple's hand?"

Simply put. That's merely hopeful LQMT lotto ticket holder speak. I don't feel consumers could care less about a case made from Liquidmetal and I would hope the new CEO would have a better plan for commercializing LQMT tech. And building some revs.

Just my opinions. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL! In 2017 lets hope the new leader of LQMT brings something substantive to this so called "debate" beyond the silly LQMT musings we've seen lately to substantiate the impressive market cap. And perhaps even improve upon it. With revenues. Good luck gamblers.
