Yeah man. I have a 5s and it's slippery as well, very slippery. I've dropped it too many times to count and drowned it at least 5 times in whiskey and water. This last time tho I drowned it with coke so the screen is finally messed up. :-( But, I'm still using it after like 3 years and it works good. It just ain't purty no mo. Screen is very cloudy after the coke incident. ;-)

I've had plastic and rubber cases and they were so much more comfortable and felt so good in my hand. After the 3GS a bare iPhone just sux to hold. Metal and glass phones kinda suck. But, that's why we buy outer cases which creates jobs right?

I've broken screens, but not ever a case. Not the plastic iPhones that felt great bare in your hands, not even the back glass on the 4 series. But, I have broken screens. Last was a 5. Before that the 4. Imagine that. I broke the screen on the iPhone 4 but not the glass back case. Guess that's just the way it fell.

So, I don't see how a Liquidmetal case would help at all. It serves no real function that I can determine. I say bring back the plastic contoured cases like the original iPhones before the 4. It felt good in your hand. And was completely functional.

Maybe Liquidmetal can make a difference in medical. Or ????? But, it's unique properties should add to the function in some way.

Just my opinions and happy new year to all. :-)
