I agree that shorting isn't likely but there have been certain apparently manipulative events that I've noticed. I bought at the ask on three separate occasions and, within one minute, on two of the three occasions, a five (5) share trade (under $1) hit the bid. The other time it was a 335 share trade at the bid. Even though there is a natural tendency to try and understand such events, I agree that daily swings are insignificant and the big picture is all that counts.
