I don't believe Simpson was a director of TMM when he formed DFI, then DFMI. I believe Fernandez was running a one man show then. I know Papalia was involved as well. Elliot was the spokesperson/PR guy for TMM. I met Elliot and Fernandez many times concerning TMM. I didn't meet Simpson until 2001 when he showed me the clip from "Hunt for Red October" at Elliot's home with Fernandez and Joe Stratter. That's when I found out about DFMI. He and Stratter represented DFMI according to Fernandez.

Due to TMM's complete incompetence, I don't think Dimension, or anyone else for that matter, were worried about TMM. I do agree that Cavanaugh's 11/11 shareholder update should have been seen as a huge red flag to Dimension.

Keep in mind, the codec that was shown early to TMM was a codec that supposedly could only be played on the Silicon Graphics/IBM super computer at the time. I understand that it was in the 2000-2001 era that it was adapted for Windows.
