You know, that is the one part of this that had me confused the most. I transcribed it myself from a recording made at the time from my computer. It's fairly clear. The word he used was 5 syllables and the words surrounding it were clear to understand.

I agree it would make more sense if he said "in combination" and maybe that's what he meant to say but that's not what he said.

I'll agree that must be what he meant. He has a lot on his mind and wasn't 100% comfortable in this conversation with the woman who spoke very confidently. Maybe she was a hottie and had him going. Or just came back from lunch. I don't know but that wasn't his only stumble so, whatever. For what it's worth.
