Seriously you can't be that blind.
Would you sell at .40C when your average is $7. This is the exact reason I haven't sold my shares, BECAUSE I CANNOT TAKE SUCH A LOSS! Why would I do such a stupid thing, I can always do that at any time, sheepish I can't believe you wrote that comment, you are off your rocker.

Right now he has no actually loss, until he actually feels it and realizes a loss he has no real loss on his books.
The other question you should ask yourself is why hasn't he dollar cost averaged and bought more, he stated that nothing is preventing him from doing either.

When you have a 90% loss, selling locks the loss in, and takes away any chance of making a recovery let alone a profit. Unless he had some taxable gains he needed to offset there is no logic to selling for him or even for us.

You do not know that. Disclosure rules pertaining to timing for buying are quite different than for selling.
