He had to say this. In the poster presentation it said that there was no significant difference between the monotherapy and combo.

Even though we saw a difference in the chart. I believe there needs to be a statistically significant difference for him to say there actually is one. The difference was not big enough for him to make that claim.

Biogen will act soon. They are under pressure to get promising potential into their pipeline. Perfect fit.

It looks that way to me and others too, and is consistent with the Ariana hiring, but they stated in the July poster they do not (yet) have empirical proof of this (hence: "no difference") and they cannot change their tune without additional public results and an 8-K. So until December 10, they have to stick with this line.

However, this does NOT mean the sub pops are still diverging and he just can't say so. They could be converging back to the general result trend and he can't say so. Or getting worse than the general results trend and he can't say so. The consistent point is: he can't say anything. Not until Dec 10.
