It gets harder to add value to the commentary with no new info from NWBO. But, I think that will change shortly with some to hopefully much new info. With such a dearth of info one can only continue to do DD with surrounding related new developments and observations of the company.
When I utilize surrounding related developments I know oncology is the most fertile pharma space, which is why Pfizer just acquired Medivation, partly against their historical grain. Immunotherapy will continue to be developed as the holy grail with DC immunotherapy as the peak of the holy grail ultimately, starting with the more complex cancers. Pfizer is not a company that looks ahead 10 years and invests in the scientific ground level. They are a company who invests more in defined revenue flows, so, they are still a few years away from investing in DC immunotherapy but it will come. NWBO will give it a turbo charge along with Dr. LL and team.
When I observe NWBO, including the statements the company made about some people "turning good news into bad news" I think the screening halt is a positive event. NWBO continues to hold the course, continues to participate in conferences while progressing the P3 study to its conclusion, a positive event. Lastly, if LP has to make an un-blinding decision early she is betting the company with no guarantee, who would do that?
I am in disbelief when people question the conspiracy, given what occurred to Dendreon. NWBO will succeed because they have a superior product, superior supply chain and smarter management.
I do not know what we will hear later in Sep but I expect something of significant value to the company, and, it will continue to come. Though I am unbelievably anxious to see P3 data, because I believe it will be good, I am most concerned about financing plans. They need this real news mostly for financing reasons.
