Please try to understand "low LDL & event rates" ... not about I-IT ...
You said: due to low (you said 90) LDL the event rate will be lower than expected.
I cited I-IT LDL level (69.8 / 53.2 @ 1 yr and more or less remained flat till the end of the study - median follow-up 6 yrs) and event rate (5.78% / 5.54%).
Please try to stick to the topic ... What is your expectation re. LDL level in R-IT?
- if higher than in I-IT, why the event rate will be lower?
- if lower than in I-IT, why and how? Please note: enrollment criteria are "LDL-C >40 mg/dL (1.04 mmol/L) and <100 mg/dL (2.60 mmol/L) and on stable therapy with a statin (with or without ezetimibe) for at least 4 weeks prior to the LDL-C/TG baseline qualifying measurements for randomization"
