Vu Agree that its difficult to make changes .
I've posted the following before but since you are fairly new to the board ( and a welcome addition ) you may not have read what follows.
5 friends / business associates have had heart attacks in the past 2 yrs ...all in their 60's
1st Would exercise a lot and generally good diet but would not take Statins etc ...second MI was fatal
2nd Would take the meds but was not good on diet and exercise ...second MI was fatal
3rd ..same as 2nd ...have not been able to contact him despite several trys over past 3 mths ...maybe he's just fed up with me ..lets hope for the best .
4th Stays on his meds , some diet and exercise changes, stopped smoking etc ...still alive
5th Complete life style change from a stressed out overweight Exec to slimmed down guy in jeans and a T shirt who mediates ever morning , hr of exercise , Med diet etc etc ...survived his second MI.
So yes ..its a struggle to make the changes ...but from what I have seen , failing to do so can be fatal.
