I'm not sure how you and others came to possess those. When were they issued and on what basis were they issued?
Based on the filings and on post #21929 there was a 10% stock dividend paid in 2011 and none since. Those shares would have been available for trading years ago with the proper opinion letter.

What is preventing you from selling those shares?

My assertion is that your broker's fee, to sell them, makes it unattractive to you.

Am I mistaken? If so, what specific additional factor, that is related to DECN, is preventing you from selling?

In my case, I happen to use Schwab as my primary broker. A sale of up to 999,999 shares costs me $8.95.
