I don't think Trump really is a supremacist, and I certainly don't believe you are.
But Trump has shown himself willing to do and say absolutely anything to further his cause. He appears to see white supremacists as a constituency ignored by both parties (for good reason). And this isn't the first time he's associated himself with them. He's also retweeted some supremacist stuff, and there was the David Duke mess.
Duke, by the way, commented enthusiastically on the problematic tweet about Hillary.
Returning to Hillary and her email, there was an interesting article published yesterday. I'm not familiar with the source, but I'll be watching to see if the information is amplified anywhere. Part of what's reported apparently came from a CBS news story I missed:
This comes just hours after CBS News reported that Hillary Clinton had asked the NSA for a secure smartphone for her email immediately upon taking office as Secretary of State, and had been turned down.
In addition:
Hillary Clinton insisted all along that none of the emails she sent or received on her private email server during her tenure as Secretary of State was marked classified at the time. That was contradicted by the Director of the FBI yesterday when he claimed that a “very small number” of her emails were in fact classified at the time. The New York Times then determined that that number was just two. And now the State Department has confirmed that the two emails in question weren’t actually classified at the time, and had merely been marked incorrectly during the course of the investigation.
Trump is not anything. He's whatever you want him to be at any given moment. He has no core. If he needs white supremacist's support at a speech, David Duke will be his BFF!
