At this point, Cowan Gunteski has ten days to Respond to Tauriga's submission and at a date subsequent to that, the federal judge will make a ruling. Irrespective of this ruling, the Company will continue to prosecute this lawsuit against Cowan Gunteski and believes strongly in the evidentiary record and the merits of its legal arguments.
Warning Will Robinson. Warning! Be prepared, in the 10th month of this foolhardy lawsuit, the Florida judge is going to kick this case out of Florida and move it to Cowan's home court where it will start over from scratch.
The Company is currently seeking in excess of $3,000,000 USD in monetary damages and expects that number to continually increase up till the date of trial.
OK, let me understand this. The case has been in Federal court for 10 months. What is not known about the case? Whatever happened that gave rise to the lawsuit occurred long prior to the lawsuit. How is it that the damages demand is going to rise from $3 million. That is just crazy. This type of statement compounds the Board's liability.
When that suit is kicked out of Florida, Federal court rules allow for Cowan to bring suit against TAUG for filing a lawsuit without merit. Cowan can seek attorney's fees and sanctions against TAUG. This is the cost of two mens' obsessions, Seth Shaw and the guy(s) funding this folly.
On June 29, 2016 the Company filed its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q ("Quarterly Report") for the period ended June 30, 2015. The Company continues to work diligently towards its corporate goal of regaining its status as a fully reporting U.S. public Company.
Oh no Mr. Bill. TAUG isn't going to become a current filer in the month of June. They need to file two more 10Qs a 10K and a 10Q for the recent quarter that just ended. Who is going to pay for that?
