There will still be a form of currency and it will be upheld by the gold standard. The governments will manipulate the currency:gold ratio causing gold and silver prices to spike up dramatically. And yes, it will look like the currencies will collapse before the revaluation process by the G7 committee. Only the largest players with the most gold reserves will be given the power to influence the world currencies.
