All currencies will collapse just as they have for 5000 years and yes CBs will go too because the fractional banking model is a complete dud to put it nicely. Temporarily the Special Drawing Right (SDR) will bail out the world beyond that I don't know and neither does anyone else.

To your point yes it's likely gold will play a role in tomorrow's currency just as it has for 5000 years -100......as the yield purchasing power of the old $USD reaches zero
