I'd like to chime in on the futility issue...
The drug has an approved indication and use, and off labels uses. So there is life beyond a stop for futility. Unfortunately, given the way and volume this stock trades on news, the bottom will fall out. The company has value regardless of the interim outcome, but that will not help us here. And the low would be months/years long.
And indeed, safe and effective as it may be for everyone to date, if at interim, given the time and money spent, the numbers say 49.5 to 50.5 either way, a stop will be considered.
Personal belief aside, ya gotta consider realistic possibilities and a smoking crater is one, no matter how remote.
I've seen it here and elsewhere, as have many of you.
