I am confused. According to their website Anavex was not to be notified until June 23rd whether their abstract is accepted. Could this be what they submitted for in February? Couldn't they also be submitting for late-breaking and we will find out after the 23rd?
I agree with frenchroll. They were not at liberty to nor ready to announce new data by conference application time, but the conclusion of the abstract states clearly that more complete data will be available.
It is not a placeholder. AAIC accepts new data only. It does not on blind faith accept the mere hope or intention to present new data. The 12-wk PK/PD analysis will assess dose dependency, so there is no reason in that choice of words to consider Anavex's poster title a rehash.
