Any talk of a special dividend should wait until we get further signings beyond Huawei. Conservative is the word to use when it comes to cash management at IDCC. We can wish all we want IMO.
zombywolf: The Huawei shipment numbers that you are playing with were for their worldwide smartphone shipments. As far as has been reported, the arbitration only set rates for the non-Chinese market. Since I calculated that the non-Chinese market apparently has been running at slightly under half of Huawei's sales, you would have to adjust you calculation.
Whatever the amount is, it will still be a nice piece of change.
