Agree entirely with this post. I certainly hope "Steve" gets tried and convicted to the fullest extent for what he's done. He temporarily knocked the stock off track with that bs PR and he should pay for it.
You hit the nail on the head. Some people ask themselves occasionally "why do I keep making stupid decisions?" - but this guy just doesn't learn. Apparently not asking himself. He seems to suffer from a clinical case of cognitive dissonance -driven self-justification for a lifelong series of stupid decisions and bad character behavior.
