First, let me dispute your premise. The SEC does not require a third party to attest to accredited investor status. Labor Smart never asked Prometheus for certification from a third party. Labor Smart asked Prometheus to fill out an accredited investor questionnaire and then when asked, never provided a questionnaire that would have met Labor Smart's standards.
But to answer your question, Prometheus can, and has, received third-party certification as an accredited investor.
But Schadel doesn't actually want that. He wanted Prometheus to fill out a questionnaire. Schadel doesn't actually care about Prometheus's status. I believe he tried to delay.
