I don't go that far at all. The CC stores were just starting up and they had some good numbers at first. He could have gotten caught up in the moment and spit out a projected figure they had just talked about in a staff meeting for the end of January or something. I may be naive, but I do not think he flat outright lied even though what he said was not correct. Sue me. I still like the company and the way things are headed right now.

In response to: "Yep, it was JF. And i believe the annual was only around 6,000 subs at the end of Dec. 2005."

I believe Chip & JF really THOUGHT that they could increase subscriber numbers more quickly than they have been able to do. However, I smiled when JF said that 15,000 subs would make the company quite profitable. It might have been that he did not realize the ACTUAL COSTS of the CC deal, and the costs of satisfying current customers. I know I WAS a subscriber, but I had some bad luck with a disc they sent, and they were unable to resupply me with one that worked in a timely manner. It worked out quicker and cheaper for me to go 3 blocks away to a local store and rent.

I ask myself, "why should we trust anything JF and Chipper have to say?"

Once again, I truly believe their intentions are good. Maybe they are going through a learning experience themselves, and just don't know exactly what is going to happen with all their ideas. I was a little disappointed in the responses JF made in a defensive, "with attitude" sort of way, during the last address to the stockholders that I heard a couple of months ago, but who knows. All I know is that additional (Many, many, many) subscribers should be their FIRST objective.

Also, i ask myself, "why the heck am i in a stock in which i can not trust the CEO or President?"... still haven't figured that one out yet.

Hey, we all fall in love with a stock, usually in hopes of getting rich! Ha, Ha! There are MANY more stocks available. Just remember, cheap is not always the way to go. For ideas, try Googling "Vector Vest", I have made much money on their suggested stocks, either buying or selling short.
