I've spent about 20 years researching socialism's history. I think it's a fascination similar to looking at car accidents or something that makes me do it. But let me tell you, there is no worse force in mankind's world than that which systematically robs people of their wealth, their minds, their culture, and their natural (and other) rights. And socialism in all and any of its forms does just that. But there is no way to have serious discussions about this stuff with some people. In my work I sometimes deal with young people. I have honestly heard numerous times from numerous different young people that they like socialism because it has "social" in the word, and therefore it just, to them, sounds good. Our younger generations have no clue what they are flirting with when they faun over Obama, HC, or Sanders, all of whom have ties to radical socialist ideologies and 1960s radical socialist leaders. I could go on, but no one wants to hear this stuff. They just want their soma.
