So apparently you have never travelled to Europe and in particular to Scandinavia

I have no desire to have our core economic engine be anything but capitalism (with progressive taxation and government regulation)

But many developed nations - all with a homogenous population - live wonderful lives and love it under socialism

Note - socialism does not create as much wealth in 80+% of the times it is tried (% estimated by me)

Note - socialism - with all its elements of sharing - can only work in a nation where people do not talk about us and them. It can not work in this country. Not a chance of long term success
