p&p: patton believed once we got to berlin we should have stomped russias ass because we had the bomb for backup and he knew stalin was evil. he killed twice as many as hitler and died in office of old age. patton was labeled a fool and died in obscurity. history proved he was the only one who could see past his nose. everyone else was fools, not him! had we have pushed farther and established democracy there, odds are it would have likely meant no korea or vietnam. but once they had the bomb they were untouchable.
