Talk about those $16's? I can't seem to forget that I paid $16.35 for my first units of NGL. Talk about patience, huh? However, my cost basis is down to $9.27. So, all things considered, churning portfolios in search of sell candidates can be a good thing. You're expecting as much with your ALDW and I'm with you 100% on this one.
I've been a fan of ALDW for about as long as it's been operating as an MLP. These hi-yielding picks have been a fascination for me since buying BPT back in the early 2000's. In those days BPT could be had for something in the $100 range. Nowadays the "range" will get you hot and bothered swatting flies as you try to unload a bum steer. lol Life's realities can be so ego-flattening!
Yeah, I don't mind stashing cash in ALDW. Being as I'm comfortably confident this will rise into the $21-$24 zone once folks realize today's lows are a fluke and high payouts are again the norm, they'll flock into our baby. A near-double from here suit me just fine.
