I certainly did have a lot of dogs in the 2015 contest. Fortunately, some of these names worked out better in the real world (where trading is allowed) than in the charity contest (where it isn’t). My real-world performance benefited from buying a big lot of ENTA at $20.03 on Oct 22—the day of the seemingly catastrophic sell-off on an FDA label update to Viekira Pak (#msg-117918952). Also, I managed to escape with only a modest loss on CNAT due to high volatility around the phase-2 data reporting. With OCRX, on the other hand, I held my original position and bought more during the year, but all purchase lots are currently in the red. Fortunately, I never owned MCUR.
