My portfolio’s EGRX weighting was only 15%, instead of 20%. Should’ve followed my own advice about allocating 20% (the highest allowable weighting) to each of the four most promising picks.

Still looks like you would not have won, since 5 of your 8 picks were down, including all of your other 15-20% allocations (ENTA down 33.6%, OCRX down 50.4%, and CNAT down 64.4%). Your losses on MCUR (down 83.1%) would have been half as great at a 5% allocation and that would have helped.

The additional allocation to EGRX would have added "only" ~$26,600 to your results. Net, net (according to my back-of-the-envolope) is that you would have been in second a couple thousand behind. Still a great result but not quite enough to repeat. Congrats anyway on the EGRX. It will be in my portfolio this year, but I usually have a very conservative portfoloio that does well only in a very bad year.
