Am invested in xkem, but also hopeful for the drug treatment. I was born in Nigeria, though am not sickle cell anaemic, i am a carrier of the disease.
I have lost three cousins to the disease, and two friends (on e died earlier in the year). I presently have 3 cousins who have SCD and live in Nigeria. So am hoping this drug will bring the much needed treatment and give them some hope.
