walkin boss grub, i keep reading this 5% post of yers and it does have some merit, but only in a "decreasing" demand scenario, imo...for yer ihub-situation here n now of "increasing" demand...so many other implementations both you walkin-bosses seem to be missing...hint: BOTH of the two facets, FUNDAMENTALS/PERCEPTIONS apply to EVERY game!

WHEN DEMAND OUTWEIGHS SUPPLY, where is the logic in eliminating 5% of the "DEMAND"? Isn't it a goal to INCREASE demand, NOT DECREASE??!!

I can't judge this recent poster, "greg s", event as i haven't enuf facts of the case, but to let go of a long-time-customer so abruptly??!! WOW!

Dave, Sprint/Nextel pulled the plug in a similar way recently. They unloaded (or will send a letter) to basically "fire" those customers who complain the most.

Sprint has other issues (poor customer service ratings, etc.), but I see the basis in their strategy. On paper, less incoming complaints should reduce customer service employee headcount, etc.
