As I keep saying, big flaw in your thought process... Quite simply put.... If they're on the up & up & made nothing from it all this time, then there is simply nothing to fear to fight for relief legally. What is there to lose? If there is nothing to lose, then nothing to fear. It doesn't add up what you say about no guts to sue. They haven't made anything so nothing to lose and everything to gain. Thus, since those particular dots don't connect (regardless of how you choose to "stand firm" on it), then perhaps consider other scenarios.
