In BAYP ville they had 1.5B O/S, and after a 1:100 R/S 15M O/S in mid 2014. Cheering posts of how small the float, even with a 2014 EOY amount of 50M. The current O/S 260M has seen posts of how well management has governed the issuance of the stock, with no dilution the past year. After all an O/S of 260M doesn't sound bad at all. Or at least it sounds better than 26B for the O/S.
All management has to do is never bring up the subject again, and the event is forgotten by the retail dreamers.
And yes like your example, there will be the comedy of posters dream guesstimating the "real" worth of the shares many multiples above the current price, based on many multiples of dilution occurring while net income continues to bleed multiples of red.
