Even if the implications are good fundamentally I agree it is likely that it will take a good deal of time before there is a listing in Oslo. I have therefore sold another 10 % of my shares and invested the money elsewhere.
Imo, I think the PR today was good in a few respects 1 A shares and 2 it will be easier for anyone wanting to invest to know wtf they are investing in. Going to OSE with this conglomerate spreading at every direction could have been a tough task. Otherwise we're in agreement of everything! I was just thinking when making coffee right now of a Q to Solomon or FD in the CC..."why the hell would anyone like to invest in Siaf with all the broken promises in the baggage NOW??" PPS could basically go to zero because of the lack of confidence in the market that these guys never ever get anything done!
Well we all know how long it will take them to set up a complete new company with all the things they mentioned, committee and everything else, the spin off will take a while as well, I think saying we will have the spin off listed and trading in Oslo in 12 months from today is very optimistic if not more IMO.
Tbh, I don't know how much time this will have to take, it's more or less a given route to have a new company set-up together with bod aso. From my perspective this shouldn't have to take more than a Q tops, it would also be very interesting to know where this new company will have the origin...no reason whatsoever to have it in the states with all their bureaucrats that's for sure! And if we get rid of the foccing SEC I think we could save a bunch of time...
