My guess is some kind of half-assed Chinese system or they would have had better stamina. It is a great example though of the changeover. I have been invested in oil industry, hydrogen and trash to fuel - I think all these apply to the future. We will always need oil, but we are moving away from the fossil fuel dependence (I say thankfully because I am a basic eco-weenie). I am happy to see the hydrogen over electric changeover. What is happening in the warehousing industry is a great test example for cars. Here in my town, we have a hydrogen bus - badass! I smile when I see this change. I have slowly extracted from oil industry as it began the recent downturn to focus on what I think is the next big evolution- alternative energy. I think also that America could become the changeover leader, like we were with computers, cars, and oil. I think PLUG is the one to lead the way with the most experience in implementing and making the changeover easy and smooth. I'm in it long-term. I am very confident and also excited for my grandbaby's future.

I believe the cells are provided by Ballard Power (doing a fair amount of business through their Chinese partners) . The Hydrogen infrastructure is probably all in country companies.

I don't think Andy is wanting to be distracted by the hydrogen infrastructure needs of any market that isn't on his target list. Shame really as they could be some nice consultancy revenues to bring in, but he would be doing it for US public highway groups - like the california one - first not the chinese!

I do hope there is some for of international standard for the dispensing nozzle technology (like the electric cars seem to have got a standard connector) that would allow a little bit more freedom to deploy in new areas for both the H2 supply and the Fuel cell.
