I sure hope we hit a cyclical bottom. Geez, going by eyeball figuring, it looks like earnings went from about $20 to about $26 from the 92(?) bottom to the most recent one. That's a TOTAL increase of bout 30%, which if we de-compounded it backwards -- "depounded? {g} -- comes out to a yearly rate of ... um ... well, I don't know, but not very much, I'm thinking.
