Well given that note was not really documented anywhere in any filing until 2013 - I would thing they might have wanted more proof. They did mention a Promissory note though for Sept 10 (although the withdrawal from the account n Zapopan occurred before that.) would be interesting to take a look at that - and who signed off on it!
