That sounds correct to me. The only entity responsible for PAYING the dividend is $CRGP - unless you were shorting the stock, in which case you are responsible for paying the dividend on the shares borrowed.
327M note converts to shares, COR borrows those & shorts $CRGP, gets caught with their pants down after INCORRECTLY being billed by the DTCC (because the divi was NOT owed on those shares) and now they're suing $CRGP for what sounds like, not returning the money fast enough..
The question is which of us held the 180M some outstanding shares that ARE elidgible for the divi, and how the hell anyone is going to figure that out!
