He could have been there - there was a sea of red caps, and you know how much YANKEE fans "love" that color. Total number at NATS game today was a record for any NATS game. Say what they will about the YANKEES, but they sure do draw a crowd!
Great game...until 9th inning when Zimmerman came up to bat! It was a pitcher's game until the 5th. The 9th was really a heartbreaker - we needed just two more outs for the "W".
I do not understand why JT left Wang in for the ENTIRE game, taking a chance that his ball would finally float up just enough for a batter to make contact - guess there is no confidence in the pen. From what I could see the guys in the YANKEE pen either sat watching the game, or from time to time threw the ball around.
Sounds like Saturday's game was cruel also...right PLUGGER? I turned it off at 9-2, YANKEES...but that was not the rest of the story.
